Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 4 - Gordon Dam

The water held back in Lake Gordon is the source for electricity generation here at Gordon Dam. A kilometer downstream the Gordon River flows through gorges and rainforests to Macquarie Harbour before entering the Southern Ocean. I wonder if the passengers on the Gordon River cruise out of Strahan think about what that water was doing 50km upstream.
